COSCO SHIPPING China-Europe Land-Sea Express Route Extends into the Iberian Peninsula

COSCO SHIPPING has recently began a new effort to build a green port network in the Iberian Peninsula around the ‘dual pivots’ of Valencia and Madrid.

COSCO SHIPPING Lines, COSCO SHIPPING Ports and COSCO SHIPPING Europe have worked together to build a number of new sea-rail transport channels and take measures to further optimise the transport structure, improve transport efficiency, reduce social logistics costs and promote energy conservation and carbon reduction.

Earlier this year COSCO Shipping Ports Limited announced it had handled a total of 8.6 million TEU across all of its terminals in January 2021.
