DaChan Bay Terminals establishes new South America Service

DaChan Bay Terminals has welcomed a new service operated by Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd (Zim) which will provide a connection between South China and South America.

The ASE service will be a monthly offering, transporting cargo to Santos, Itapoa, and Buenos Aires for Shenzhen and PRD exporters.

The full rotation for the ASE service alongside the transit times are as follows: DaChan Bay – Santos (32 days) – Itapoa (34 days) – Buenos Aires (35 days) – DaChan Bay.

“ZIM has been our long-term customer and we are glad to work with them on the ASE service to introduce additional capacity to meet shippers’ needs,” said Brian Yeung, Managing Director at DaChan Bay Terminals.

DaChan Bay Terminals previously won the Award of Recognition in the category of Terminal Operations Optimisation at Navis‘ Inspire Awards program sponsored by PTI in 2017. The award show was held during Navis World and saw the Chinese company come runner up to PD Ports who won the Award of Excellence in the category.
